Liron Bensimon

PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

With more than two decades of clinical experience, Liron Bensimon is a seasoned physical therapist known for his whole-person, systems-based approach to care. He holds board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a distinction that reflects advanced expertise in orthopedic practice through the American Physical Therapy Association. He also holds certification in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM), a framework that examines how different regions of the body interact to reveal the true source of dysfunction.

At KNÓSIS Physical Therapy & Wellness in NYC, Liron works closely with each individual to uncover the root causes of their pain or movement limitations—whether mechanical, neurological, or behavioral. He integrates expert manual therapy, targeted movement retraining, and thoughtful education on how pain functions in both the body and the brain.

Liron specializes in complex orthopedic and neurologic conditions, including TMJ dysfunction, chronic headaches, spinal instability, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. He brings clarity, compassion, and decades of hands-on experience to every session—whether he's restoring joint mobility, improving motor control, or helping patients reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom.

Beyond the clinic, Liron has supported adaptive sports programs for individuals with disabilities and co-developed the Spinal Mobility program—an innovative course designed to address neurologically driven trunk weakness. He has shared this work with clinicians at leading rehabilitation hospitals and national conferences. His passion lies in restoring functional movement, deepening body awareness, and guiding patients toward a more empowered, embodied sense of wellness.
