Lukasz Mroz
PT, DPT, OCS
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Lukasz earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Warsaw Medical University in 2011. He has been practicing for over a decade and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2021. His clinical experience spans pre- and post-operative orthopedics as well as sports rehabilitation.
Early in his career at a prestigious orthopedic clinic in Warsaw, Lukasz worked alongside internationally recognized surgeons and observed live surgeries, strengthening his expertise in anatomy and biomechanics—skills he continues to draw on in his practice today.
Lukasz specializes in manual therapy and the treatment of sports-related injuries. He holds advanced certifications in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (Kaltenborn-Evjenth OMT), the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). His patients have included professional dancers—including the star of Wicked on Broadway—members of the Polish National Ballet, and athletes of all levels.
Most recently, Lukasz completed the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Rehabilitation Hip Preservation Certification, an advanced program focused on non-arthritic hip conditions. Through this training, he deepened his expertise in hip anatomy, biomechanics, manual therapy, post-surgical precautions, and rehabilitation exercise progressions.
He has also completed advanced hip training with Alison Grimaldi, a leading authority in hip physical therapy, with specialized coursework focused on groin pain and hip tendinopathies. This advanced study further refined his clinical reasoning for complex hip presentations and strengthened his ability to tailor manual therapy and progressive strengthening to the underlying drivers of hip pain.
In addition, Lukasz is certified in vestibular rehabilitation and treats dizziness conditions such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). Using infrared goggles to precisely assess eye movements, he performs canal-specific repositioning techniques to ensure accurate diagnosis and targeted intervention, supporting a safe and confident return to daily activities and exercise.
Outside of work, Lukasz stays active through swimming, weightlifting, and biking. He is also passionate about traveling, exploring new countries, and experiencing different cultures.
This elite certification for physical therapists addresses advanced techniques to identify hip dysfunction, precise mobilizations and evidence based exercise prescription and functional loading. It also includes return-to-sport strategies: sport-specific drills for power, coordination, and endurance restoration.
