Miralva Swaby
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Miralva is a Licensed Massage Therapist in New York with over 10 years of experience in medical and therapeutic bodywork. Her approach brings together clinical knowledge and holistic healing practices to support each person as a whole.
Her work integrates medical massage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, prenatal and postpartum massage, movement therapy, Reiki energy work, sound therapy, and other restorative practices. Over the years, she has supported people navigating chronic pain, injury recovery, limited mobility, pregnancy and postpartum changes, as well as cancer patients and survivors. She has also worked alongside physical therapists in rehabilitation-focused environments.
Her background includes an Associate Degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, studies in Natural Medicine in Bahia, Brazil, yoga teacher training at Sacred Path in Peru, Reiki Master training, and sound therapy training at Integral Yoga Institute in New York with Don Conreaux. She is also a graduate of the Practical Nursing Program at Felbry College, which deepened her understanding of anatomy, physiology, patient safety, and compassionate clinical care.
At the heart of her practice is the belief that healing is multidimensional. Through therapeutic touch, mindful movement, sound, breath, and energy work, she creates individualized sessions designed to encourage greater body awareness, mobility, relaxation, and connection. Her intention is to provide a grounded and supportive space where each person can reconnect with their body and participate in their own healing and well-being.
